More cyclocross inanity

Things I learned this weekend:
1. Getting a cold/allergies and killing yourself at the front while trying to do Starcrossed is a great way to have 9 people pass you. Crap-tastic!
2. PBR is not the worst way to rehydrate. Those water-beers are good for something.
3. Apparently, having the same cold/allergies and then racing at SeaTac (more mountain bike-y) is a good way to do okay.
3. To boost confidence, start races near the middle and then everytime you pass someone, it's like a mini-victory.
4. Don't expect to read scientific articles while at a bike race. it won't happen, though it does make you feel slightly guilty.
