I got close to the absolute best compliment at Donida Farms. A woman on my team said she was trying to keep up with me during the race, but I was just too fast through the corners. Yeah, I do have some skills (or skillz, maybe?). Totes!
The professor for my awesome class keeps singling me out for really silly things. Someone commented on his ability to be really excited during our 8:-f'ing-30am class, and he mentioned how it was the coffee from my favorite coffee shop: Bean and Bagel. He asked the class how many people went there, and he was like, "I know Rachel does." And last week, he announced to the class how he had seen me biking onto campus as he was running back to his office to pick up his notes.
It's not anything creepy or really weird. I think it mainly comes from the fact that I actually come to office hours, so, you know, he actually knows my name. Oh, and we were talking about Dustin L. for a couple minutes one day, so maybe that was points or something? Plus, I am totally asking for being singled out as I am that obnoxious over-achiever who can't keep her damn mouth shut. You know, the nerdy person in your high school physics class who was "most likely to become a physics major." Well, I've got the degree and the love of hearing myself talk to proof that. Damn.
