Instead of my first week of classes for the quarter, I spent the last week in Boulder, CO doing wilderness survival training.
If we are ever trapped in the wilderness (2+ hours from help) and you happen to dislocate your shoulder, I am now certified to re-locate it. So, no worries!
I've got my first mountain bike race of the year tomorrow. Hopefully, my great road record so far will bleed over to that. It should be great, as it's one of the real courses, just one big lap not five 5-mile laps or something just as lame.
And the first crit of the year is approaching. This is and of itself is very, very exciting.
