Bikes and papers about ice

It was a pretty disappointing race on Sunday, though the weather was fantastic. I didn't warm up really well and have not done much climbing lately, so I totally blew up on the FIRST lap. The HUGE pack of 11 actually split 6/5, and I was in that back 5. We road until the end, but it was more of a fast training ride than anything. I cannot wait for track and crits so I can ignore down these dumb long things.

I'm trying to get two papers finished this month. Hurray for things that feel productive! More school hurdles to come: getting the advisor to actually read one of those papers, Generals, funding for next year, actually finishing this here PhD thing.
