Seriously, if it were less than half its actual price (or around $150), I would totally love a Kindle. It would save me from printing so many PDFs, and I could see it being totally useful with textbooks and theses. I'd probably read actual books on it, too, but mainly the PDF option totally gets me. I do have a thing for paper books, but I could see myself changing my mind.
Goal: Make better friends with Amazon employees.
